Term information
definition
Molecular field analysis (MFA) evaluates the energy between a probe and molecular model at a series of points defined by a rectangular or spherical grid. This energy may be added to the study table to form new columns headed according to the probe type. The new columns may be used as independent X variables in the generation of QSAR. source: http://www.scribd.com/doc/26385082/QSAR-Pharmacophore-and-Docking-Studies-on-Human-Phaspholipase-a2-Inhibitors
